Dr. Liu’s main research interests lie in the study of understanding the mechanisms of carcinogenesis. The focus of Dr. Liu’s research program is to define the effect of metabolism reprogramming in cancer development. The ongoing research project is: the role of B7-H3, an immune-regulatory protein, in the regulation of metabolism of cancer. Dr. Liu has published 18 peer reviewed papers. Most of the publications have been appeared in leading journals, including Cancer Research, Oncogene, Journal of Biological Chemistry, Nature Communication and Molecular Cancer Therapeutics.
